Over the past couple of months, there has been some ups and downs regarding Deadpool 2. As previously reported, there were some reshoots that made fans nervous. Then a trailer was released and fans got excited again… but not for long. As we also reported, the first test screening for the movie did not go well according to an anonymous source. Brief comments stated that the story fell flat and that one of the characters was totally waster. Naturally, fans across the board shit themselves and began to write it off.
Thank the lord for Josh Brolin as he later came out and mentioned that the reshoot was to include a secret cameo and that things were going smoothly. To be honest, he probably could give two shits as he is about to burn down theaters as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War later this week. However, some reassurance from Brolin was much needed.
So why are we here? Well Ryan Reynolds has re-posted fan art depicting his character, Deadpool, standing over the grave of Logan (Wolverine) that we see at the end of Logan.
As seen above, the caption consists of a clever quote by Deadpool, followed by Reynolds mentioning that he loves the fan art. It doesn’t seem to be much at first, but after pieces are put together there are some possibilities. Reynolds has let everyone and their mother know that he is a big fan of Hugh Jackman and his Wolverine character. He at length has mentioned that he would love to play Deadpool alongside the superhero giant. Mentioned earlier, Brolin did attribute the reshoots to including a secret cameo. Finally, Marvel and Disney have acquired the rights to X-men. Taken all of these bits and pieces into account, could Logan make a brief appearance in Deadpool 2?
