The highly anticipated Deadpool 2 has had some bad reports as of late. Set to be released on May 18th, 2018, the first screening did not go so well. An anonymous source mentioned that the movie was a mess. It was stated that there is no real storyline and that it lacks depth.
At this point these are all rumors as viewers are required to sign a non-disclosure stating that they will not discuss the movie. Therefore, the sources that have provided feedback remained anonymous… fucking cowards. One who did not remain anonymous was blogger Jeremy Conrad. Conrad tweeted out the poor reactions to the screening over the weekend and was forced to take it down shortly after.
No worries of course, the internet is full of savages and the remains have been spread across the internet. Not only has the story itself been noted to be trash, but it was also mentioned that the Vanessa character is a total waste. Although there hasn’t been direct feedback on Cable (Josh Brolin), failing to portray the character directly could be detrimental to future movies.
It goes without saying that these sources are anonymous and are still the view of one or a few individuals. However, with the great success of Deadpool, Fox was not expecting this kind of feedback at the screening. Let’s hope that these sources just have trash views because a failure on such a blockbuster could greatly hinder the Deadpool character.
